William Maddox Elmore

William Maddox Elmore, 81, of Paragould, died Thursday, at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born October 29, 1930 in Paragould to the late William Houston and Norma A. Maddox Elmore. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda D. Elmore and son, Robert "Bobby" Elmore. Bill was a graduate of Paragould High School,retired from the United States Postal Service, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: David and Lisa Elmore; granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Sara and Brad Johnson; and grandson: John Elmore, all of Benton. His life will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday, graveside, at St. Mary's Cemetery with Father Mike Sinkler officiating. A rosary will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel.
