Wendell Randell Staton

Wendell Randell Staton, 72 of Paragould, died Wednesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Wendell was retired from Hytrol in Jonesboro and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Armey veteran. Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Emily Brashears Staton; brothers Delmar and Bert Staton and sister Faye Staton. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Leveda Staton of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Brad and Krista Staton of Colorado Springs, CO and Brian and Melissa Staton of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Shane Stoval of Paragould; sisters, Diva Chestine of Berrien Springs, MI and Phyllis Kingston of Paragould. 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00-1:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Sam Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Epsaba Cemetery. The family request that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
