Wanda Lee Rogers

Wanda Lee Felty Rogers, 84, of Paragould died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born January 9, 1926 in O'Kean, Arkansas . She was co/owner of Rogers Greenhouse in Paragould and was a member of First Baptist Church. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bessie Allison Felty; husband, James C. Rogers; one son, Michael Lee Rogers; and three brothers: Harold, John and Vernon Felty. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Darlene Rogers; daughters and sons-in-law, June and Kenny Pegg and Susan Rodgers and Tim Simpson all of Paragould; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Alan and Julie Rogers of Paragould; granddaughters, Maegan Rogers and Kara Pegg of Memphis, TN, and Jamie Rodgers of Paragould; two great grandsons, Xander and Jayden Rodgers of Paragould; step granddaughter, Laura Pegg; step great grandson, Jackson Pegg; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill Felty of Mt. Home, AR, Bonnie and Emma Felty of Stanford, J.M. and JoAnn Felty of Brevard, NC, Max and Janice Felty of Knoxville, TN; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jackie May of Paragould; brother-in-law and wife, R.C. and Bernita Rogers of Paragould; and several nieces and nephews. Wanda's life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Heath Colonial Chapel wil Rev. Bill Steeger officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Heath Funeral Home.
