Walker Douglas

Walker Garen Douglas, born August 31, 2004, to Neil and Christy Douglas of Paragould, passed from this life August 7, 2024.

He was a graduate of Paragould High School and, after attending classes at BRTC, aspired to be a welder. He was currently employed as seasonal help with Jonesboro School District.

Despite his years, Walker was an old soul. He loved vintage cars and television shows as well as anything to do with the 80s. He loved spending time with family and friends and making them smile. He was a member of New Antioch Baptist Church where he had answered a call to preach.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob Crowson of Jonesboro and Brenda Crowson of Paragould.

He is survived by his parents, Neil and Christy Douglas; one brother, Jackson Douglas of Paragould; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Rebecca Douglas of Jonesboro; and a number of immediate and extended family members, church family, and friends.

Walker truly was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, and he will be missed always.

In honoring his memory, a funeral service will be held at New Antioch Baptist Church on August 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm with Brother Elmer Ash presiding. Prior to the service, a public visitation will take place at the church starting at 12:00 pm. Walker Douglas will be laid to rest at New Hope Cemetery after the service.
