Virginia Tisdale, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on October 18, 1943, in Light, Arkansas, Virginia dedicated her life to sharing her passion for baking and the joy it brings to others.
Virginia transformed her love for baking into a vibrant career that took her across the country. She was especially known for her cherished Christmas cookie recipe, a delightful creation that brought warmth and festivity to countless families during the holiday season. Her expertise in the baking industry enabled her to consult with bakeries and stores, teaching them not only how to create delicious items but also how to create an unforgettable customer experience.
Virginia's adventurous spirit extended beyond her professional life. She traveled extensively with her dear friend, Arlie, forming memories that she cherished deeply. Together, they explored the beauty of this country and many others, sharing laughter and stories that will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know them.
Virginia leaves behind her loving daughter, Connie Dennis; son, Donald (Maricela) Rogers; grandchildren, Clarence Aaron Tisdale, Maryland, Thomas Rogers, Michael Rogers, Kaitlyn Rogers; and great-grandchildren, Chance Tisdale and Coraline Rogers. The impact she made on their lives, and the lives of everyone she touched, will forever resonate.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Edna Tisdale, and her brother, James Tisdale.
Virginia's legacy will continue to inspire and comfort those who knew her, and her love for baking will always remind us of the sweetness of life.
