Vida Mae Rhoads

Vida Mae Rhoads, of Paragould, died Saturday, January 3, at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. She was born in 1931 to the late Oliver and Olene Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Rhoads; brothers, Doug and Eddie Scott; and sister, Onegin Hunt. Vida is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David McSpadden of Paragould; sisters, Phyllis Manis of Paragould and Shirley Malick of Little Rock; and grandchildren, Christy McSpadden, Whitney McSpadden, and Alex Gramling, all of Paragould. Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould. Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Strope officiating. Those wishing to leave a lasting memorial may consider St. Bernard's Hospice, Fairview Baptist Church, or March of Dimes.
