Vernon Mack Ford

Vernon Mack Ford, 76, of Paragould died March 23, 2010 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was a Korean veteran in the U S Army. He was retired from L. A. Darling in Paragould and was a member of Newton Street Church Of Christ. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, H. L. Ford and Mary C. Treadway Ford; brothers, Ted and B. C. Ford; and sister, Icy Hancock. Survivors include his wife, Betty A. Brumbelow Ford of Paragould; son, Vernon Ford, Jr. of Ash Flat, Arkansas; Daughter, Debbie J. Ford of Paragould; sister Jewel Baker of Paragould; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Pine Knot Church of Christ with L. R. Smith and Bill Drake officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Knot Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould.
