Thelbert Spencer Stephens

Thelbert Stephens, 92, of Paragould, passed away on Friday morning. He was retired from Bendix Corporation after 33 years. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France during World War II. He was the son of the late James and Nancy Stephens. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 5 sisters.

Survivors include his wife of almost 68 years, Viola "Vi" Stephens; son, Jim Stephens (Connie) of Soldotna, AK; grandchildren, Christopher Stephens (Janet) of Miller, MO, and Jennifer Bowes (Matthew) of Anchorage, AK; great grandchildren, Caleb, Madison, Cody, Jessica, Piper, Shiloh, Casey, and Sadie; sisters, Catherine Gerdes and Loretta Smith; and sisters-in-law, Flo Merchant, Ellen Edwards, and Delorice Stewart.
