It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tari Irene Bradley, age 61, who departed this life on February 1, 2026, in Mexia, Texas. Born on July 6, 1964, in Saint Louis, Missouri, Tari was the beloved daughter of Lloyd and Peggy Hembie and a cherished sister to Timothy, Tom, Tammy, and Tonya.
A proud graduate of Marmaduke High School, Tari pursued her passion for beauty and aesthetics by attending cosmetology school. As a skilled beautician, she touched the lives of many, helping others feel confident and beautiful for several years. Her commitment to her craft and her clients exemplified her caring nature and outgoing spirit.
Tari's adventurous spirit was only matched by her profound love for family and friends. Whether fishing on tranquil waters or sharing laughter and stories with her children, grandchildren, and friends, she embraced life with open arms. She was a loving spouse to Goldie Bradley and a devoted mother to her children, Leo (Jessica) Russom, Jr. of Corning and Maegan (Emmanuel) Dowdy of Jonesboro; step-sons, Allen (Molly) Franklin and Jason (Kirstie) Franklin; grandchildren, Ethan, Benjamin, Abby, Blake, Bailey, Bentley, Hannah, Hailey, Aiden, Liam, Levi, and Luke, as well as her great-granddaughter, Freya Mae Russom. She is also survived by her brothers, Tom and Timothy Hembie, and sister, Tammy Hembie. Tari is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Tonya Popilek; and an infant grandchild.
Tari's warmth and zest for life will be profoundly missed, and her impact on her family and friends will be forever remembered.
The family will receive visitors during a public visitation at Heath Funeral Home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at Heath Funeral Home on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11:30 AM, followed by burial at Hartsoe Cemetery in Marmaduke.
