Tammy Shinault

August 27, 1964 — June 8, 2025

Tammy Lynn Shinault, a beloved wife, mom, and grannie, passed from this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on August 27, 1964, in Austin, Texas, Tammy Lynn lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service to others.

A devoted family woman often referred to as Grannie Lynn, Grannie, or "The Mom", Tammy Lynn attended college for a couple of years while simultaneously balancing work and raising her children. Her professional journey led her to a long and fulfilling career as a Customer Service Representative at Teleflora, where she dedicated 20 years of her life to serving and assisting others with a warm and compassionate demeanor.

Tammy Lynn married her true love, Dick Shinault, on December 10, 2006. Together, they shared a deep bond that reflected both their affection for one another and their commitment to family. She is survived by her loving husband, Dick; her children, Joshua (Shaunda) Garner, Melissa (Dewane Lawrence) Layton, Jake (Whitney) Garner, Kasey (Garry) Tyler, and Richard Shinault; twelve cherished grandchildren; three precious great grandchildren; and numerous other friends and family She was preceded in death by her parents, Herchell Mantooth and Carolyn Maness; grandson, Brother Tyler; brother, Frankie Maness; and infant twin sister.

Tammy Lynn was known for her generous spirit and her true servant's heart. She was a faithful follower of her Savior, Jesus, and she found immense peace in attending worship services at The Rock, whether it be in person or on-line. Tammy Lynn also found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, grilling, and tending to her beloved garden of roses. Her favorite roses were pink, as was her favorite color. Although she did not grow them, pink carnations were always her favorite flower. Her affinity for the color pink was reflected not only in her flowers but also in the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her.

Throughout her life, Tammy Lynn embodied strength, love, and kindness. She was the best mom and Grannie Lynn one could ever hope for, always making time for family gatherings and memories. Her legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Tammy Lynn's remarkable life and share in their love for her.

In this time of sorrow, we celebrate the life of Tammy Lynn Shinault, whose spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
