Tammy Fields

Tammy Lynn Fields, born on May 7, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, in Paragould, Arkansas, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 54 years old.

Tammy's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to those she loved. She was a devoted wife to her husband, John Fields, and a cherished mother to her children-David (Sarah) Fields, Brittney (Rex, Jr.) Maggard, and Sherrie (Larry) Bradley. Tammy's greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her eight grandchildren: Tanner Maggard, James Maggard, Karlee Fields, Alexander Bradley, Cheyenne Maggard, Caleb Bradley, Calvin Fields, and Conor Bradley. Her bond with her grandchildren was profound; she loved to share quality time with them and frequently engaged in culinary adventures, enthusiastically trying new recipe ideas they presented to her.

In her professional life, Tammy served as a Certified Nursing Assistant at GANH, where her compassion and dedication were evident to all. Despite her educational journey concluding without a diploma, Tammy's wisdom and kindness left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the many lives she touched through her nursing career.

Tammy cherished the simple pleasures: she found joy in "picking at her roses" in her yard, attending yard sales, and frequenting Walmart and the Dollar Tree. Her love extended beyond her family to her beloved dogs, always making sure they shared in her meals.

In addition to her husband, children, and grandchildren, Tammy is also survived by her brother Michael Atchley, sister Felicia Manes, and her dear friend Darlene Lenderman.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Atchley; mother, Rebecca Atchley; step-father, E.V. "Bugs" McDonald; father-in-law, Harry Fields, Sr.; mother-in-law, Mary Dodson; and brother-in-law, Harry Fields, Jr.

A public visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Tammy Lynn Fields, a remarkable mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness will be profoundly missed.

In this time of mourning, her family takes solace in the treasured memories shared and the enduring love she instilled in their hearts. Tammy's legacy of love, compassion, and culinary delights will forever resonate within her family and all who knew her.
