Sylvia Violet Foster

Sylvia Violet Foster, 94, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary Peckenpaw Mitchell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed landscaping and gardening in her free time. Sylvia was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ in Holland, Michigan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Foster;sisters, Irene, Alice, and Myra; and one brother.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Betty Forkum, of Paragould; brother-in-law, Jim Foster (Connie), of Chadwick, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 10:30-11:30am at Heath Funeral Home with the service starting at 11:30 am with Rev. Rob Combs officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be sent to Children's Home of Paragould.
