It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Preston Crow, aged 72, who left us on November 22, 2025. Born on December 1, 1952, in Paragould, Arkansas, Steve lived a life full of adventure and dedication. He spent well over 30 fulfilling years as an electrician at Emerson Electric, where his hard work and commitment earned him respect from colleagues and friends alike.
As a proud veteran, Steve served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, earning accolades such as the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Navy Unit Commendation. His service reflected his strong sense of duty and love for his country.
Outside of work and service, Steve cherished the great outdoors. He found joy in camping, fishing, and spending time in nature, especially near rivers and creeks. Whether it was camping with his kids when they were young or farming, he had an infectious passion for life that resonated with everyone he met.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Crow and Alta Crow; sisters, Shelia Joy Crow and Margaret Vandergriff; and brother, Brant Crow.
Steve is survived by his companion, Myra Crow; beloved children: Kimberly Campbell of Paragould, Steve (Charlotte) Crow II, Monica Crow, and Arthur Crow, all of Pocahontas. He is also remembered fondly by his sisters, Joan Boyd of Paragould and Susie (Steve) Flanery of Pocahontas; grandchildren, Krystopher Kincade, Kira Winter, Kylie Bates, Katarina Bates, all of Paragould, Preston Crow of Conway, Payton Crow, and Brayden Crow, both of Pocahontas; great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Sickler of Paragould; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Red and Allie May who brought love and joy into his life.
In honor of Steve's life, family and friends will gather for services at Providence Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, December 8, 2025. The day will begin with a celebration of life at 1:00 PM. The funeral service will commence at 2:00 PM, leading to Steve's final burial at Providence Cemetery.
We invite all who knew and loved Steve to join us in celebrating the wonderful life he led. His spirit will remain with us, cherished in our memories and hearts forever.
