Stanley Glen Knight

Stanley Glen Knight, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013, at his home. He was born February 12, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of the late Ray and Mabel Knight. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Phil Knight. Stanley loved music, camping at the river and being outdoors with friends and family. He was a very talented musician playing various instruments. He played in various rock bands from school days to his career with Black Oak Arkansas. Stanley is survived by wife; Brenda Posey Knight, of the home; daughter: Jocelyn (David) Raese of Modesto, California; son: Travis (Kynda) Knight of Fort Worth, Texas; stepchildren: Allison (Doug) Walker of Jonesboro, Nick (Anaisa) Chambers of Palm City, Florida; sister: Beverly (Randy) Riggs of Joelton, Tennessee; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends and family will meet for the celebration of Stanley's life at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, 2:00 PM, Thursday, with Reverend Randall Riggs officiating. Pallbearers are Doug Walker, Bill Hutchison, Danny Brewer, Michael Daugherty, Pat Daugherty, and Scott Snellgrove. Honorary pallbearers are Roger Thompson, Butch Rupert, Al Poston, Mackey Huffstedler and members of Black Oak Arkansas.
