Sonter Andon

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sonter Andon, a beloved husband, father, and member of the community. Sonter Andon, born on June 1, 1986 on the island of Pohnpei, Micronesia tragically lost his life in a car accident alongside five other family members, including his wife and son, on April 15, 2024. Sonter touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and infectious smile.

The funeral services for Sonter Andon will be held at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 12:00 pm. A visitation will take place on May 3, 2024, beginning at 1:00 pm and will last until the final farewell service, to honor his memory and pay respects. A final farewell service will be conducted at Brown's Chapel Baptist Church on May 4, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am.

During this difficult time, the community comes together to support one another and remember the life of Sonter Andon, a man who will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. May his soul rest in peace, and may we find solace in the memories and legacy he leaves behind.
