It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sherry Felty, who left us tragically on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on September 28, 1973, in Paragould, Sherry was a beloved daughter, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother.
A proud graduate of Stanford High School in 1992, Sherry's vibrant spirit and unwavering dedication to her family and community left a lasting mark on all who knew her. Throughout her life, she held various jobs, but her favorite was her role as a waitress at the Brick Oven, where her warm smile and friendly demeanor brightened the days of many patrons.
Sherry had a passion for adventure and nature; she often spent her time rock hunting, whether trekking through Sand Creek or wandering across the scenic fields of Stanford. Her laughter could be heard as she enjoyed rides with friends and shared joyful moments beside bonfires with her loved ones.
Sherry leaves behind her loving parents, Danny and Anna Felty; son, Cody (Ashlyn) Felty; cherished grandchildren, Wrenley Clay, Bradley Felty, and Riley Felty; several cousins and extended family members; and many friends. She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Sherry was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Felty.
In honor of Sherry's life, a funeral service will take place at Heath Funeral Home on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Charles Stoddard officiating. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place from noon until service time, allowing friends and relatives to gather and share their memories. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery following the service. In memory of Sherry, please send memorials to Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Sherry Felty will be laid to rest with dignity and love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and cherished memories. At this time of sorrow, we invite all who knew and loved her to come together in celebration of her life and the joy she brought to our world.
