In her brief time with us, she captured the hearts of many and became more than just a companion; she was a cherished member of the Haskett clan, earning the affection of all who encountered her.

From the very start, it was clear Sally Mae was no ordinary goat. Defying the odds with her spirited resilience, she overcame the challenges of living without the use of her hind legs. With an indomitable will, Sally deftly maneuvered through life, mastering the use of various wheelchairs as she navigated the sprawling farm that was her universe. Her zest for life shone brightly, proving that the warmth of a kind heart could light up even the dimmest of days.

Sally Mae's journey was encapsulated in the pages of the NEA Premiere magazine, where she was celebrated in the June 2023 edition for her strength and unwavering courage. Amidst the cast of family and friends, she was lovingly surrounded by her devoted Dad and Mom, Louis & Carol Haskett, and a whole herd of lovingly described mentally challenged delinquent pals, who added to the vibrant tapestry of her life. Together, they created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and the gentle cacophony of life on the farm.

Though her dear friend Pinball has since passed on, their bond continues to resonate in the hearts of those who remember their playful escapades. Together, they shared in the adventures of the farm, building a friendship that was comforting and inseparable.
