Rosetta Howard Cannon, 80, of Paragould passed away Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born in Knobel and was the activities director for the senior citizens program. She was also a member of the Center Hill Church of Christ. Rosetta was a member of the Red Hat Society, she loved to travel, ride four-wheelers, a St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved playing Rook. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Howard; sister, Dephane Bullington; brothers, Harry, Ulys, and Tom Fairchild; great-granddaughter, Jayden Webb
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Cannon of the home; sons, Terry (Carolyn) Howard of Imperial, MO., and Gary (Shirley) of St. Louis, Mo.; daughters, Sharon (Faron) Summers, Regina ( Mark) Lueker of Lafe, and David (Melody) Howard of Paragould; step-children, Burton (Brenda) Cannon of Paragould, Sharon Cannon of Stanford and Karen (John) Stewart of Paragould; brother, A. W. Fairchild; sisters, Wanda Pate of Lexington, Ky, Nona Penny of Paragould, Josie Vines of Paragould, Patricia Arnold of Bowling Green, Ky., Shirley Hart of Paragould; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and eleven step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at 1:00 in the chapel of Heath Funeral Home with Larry McFadden officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Home Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gary Howard, Faron Summers, Mark Lueker, Burton Cannon, Joseph Johnson and James Fairchild. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Howard and Steve Fairchild.
