It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronnie Carl Spence, aged 62, of Paragould, who went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Born on January 12, 1962, in Blytheville, Arkansas, Ronnie led a life full of passion, commitment, and unwavering faith.
After graduating from Paragould High School, Ronnie embarked on a fulfilling career as a general laborer. Known for his tenacity and work ethic, he also gained recognition as the owner and promoter of the National Wrestling Federation (NWF), where he dedicated himself to promoting not just the sport but the spirit of community and entertainment that it brings.
A staunch registered Republican, Ronnie was deeply invested in the political landscape of his community. His conservative values fueled his active involvement in local politics, a testament to his passion for educating others on important political issues. He ran for office on a couple of occasions, driven by a desire to make a difference and serve the public.
Ronnie was also a man of profound faith. As a devoted member of Life Church in Paragould, he found strength and purpose in his spiritual community. His faith was a guiding light in his life, shaping his character and influencing those around him.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Dorothy Spence; daughter, Maegan Murphy; three grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; very best friend, Hannah Raber, and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Vester Spence.
To honor the remarkable life of Ronnie Carl Spence, a visitation will be held at Life Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. His funeral service will follow at the same location, commencing at 1:00 PM with Pastor James Warbington officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather together to celebrate his life, share their memories, and find solace in one another during this time of remembrance. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider assisting with funeral expenses.
Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of dedication, faith, and community service that will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He will forever remain in our hearts as we strive to carry forward the values he held dear.
