It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald "Ronnie" Barrow, who left us on September 11, 2026, at the age of 67. Born on July 18, 1959, in Paragould, Arkansas, Ronnie was known for his larger-than-life personality and a spirit that embraced the great outdoors.
Those who knew him will remember his love for hunting, fishing, and boating. He cherished every moment spent in nature and loved being around people, sharing stories, and making memories. As a dedicated Road Superintendent at the Greene County Road Department, Ronnie took pride in his work and contributed to his community with a smile and a chuckle (ahut-ahut) for over 30 dedicated years.
In addition to his career, Ronnie had a passion for buying, selling, and fixing up old cars, showcasing his talent and love for anything with a motor.
Ronnie leaves behind his sons, Michael (Jennifer) Barrow and Mitchell Barrow, as well as his sisters, Karen (Gerry) Moore and Ruth "Stinker" Wheelan. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Bryce (Courtney) Barrow, Derrian (Jewlly) Barrow, Micah Barrow, Legend Barrow, Jack Barrow, Jacob Petty, and Katelyn Phillips; his nieces, Kristie (Tommy) Parkinson and Kari (Daniel) McGhee; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Katelyn Bales, Jacob Price, Jacklynn Price, Emma Kate McGhee, and Ella McGhee. He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Anna Barrow; his loving wife, Karen Barrow; and his siblings, Rhonda King, Pamela Palmison, and Rodger Barrow.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Faith Fellowship Community Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, where we will come together to honor his memory. Following the service, Ronnie will be laid to rest at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
