Robert Verl Moore

Robert Verl Moore, 72 of Paragould, died Wednesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Robert was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant (E-5). During his service in Vietnam, he earned the Army Commendation Medal, the Air Medal, The Bronze Star Medal with “V” Device and Purple Heart. He was a member of the East Side Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Clara Tuetkin Moore; sisters, Helen Puckett and Gloria Jean Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Freda Moore of the home; Son, Kris (Jennifer) Moore of Ft. Worth, TX; brothers, Charles and Terry Moore of Paragould and John Moore of Glen Burnie, MA; grandchildren Sadye, Joseph and Weston Thompson, Kaden and Arabella Moore.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Funeral Home with Ray Allen Noel officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
