Robert Phillips

Robert "Bob" Allen Phillips, 83, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born in Kennett, Missouri, on July 24, 1940, to the late Alonzo "Lonzo" and Lovie Phillips. Bob was a veteran having served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed fishing and remodeling houses. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonzo Phillips and Lovie Haislip; daughter, Ellen Janette Tweedy; grandson, Dakota Allen Tweedy; and sisters, Maxine Meagher, Dorothy Cupp, and Betty Ruiz.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cooper Phillips of Paragould; children, Stephanie Hefley and husband, James, of Cherokee Village and Gerald Allen Phillips and wife, Karen, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; grandchildren (Ellen's children), Corey Fines, Jr. Tweedy, and Tammy Morrow; grandchildren (Stephanie's children), George Tweedy, Jr., Jennifer Tweedy, Maria Tweedy, and Andrew Hefley; grandchildren (Gerald's children), Ashley Dorris, and Blake Phillips; sister, Paulette DeRouen of Stockton, California; and numerous great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces that he loved dearly.
