Richard Lee "Sarge" Carroll

Richard Lee “Sarge” Carroll, 86 of Paragould, died Monday at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was U. S. Army (retired) and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Lola Layton Carroll; brother, Everett Carroll and sister, Alice McCullar. Survivors include son, Allen Carroll of Paragould; daughter, Jackie Carroll of Aubrey, Tx; brother, Pat Carroll of Paragould; sisters, Wilma Jean Davis of Paragould and Mildred Covil of WI and 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Shallen and Ashley. Rosary services will be Tuesday at 6:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 6:30-8:00. Funeral mass will be Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Mike Sinkler officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
