Ray Odell Blankenship, 83, of Paragould, died Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at his residence. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses. Ray was also a retired railroad electrician for the Southern Pacific Railroad. "He is a loved one." He was the son of the late Earl and Carrie Blankenship. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Hill; brothers, Wayne and Jack Blankenship; and sisters, Ernestine Forte and Norma Jean Morelli. Ray is survived by his wife, Jeanie Blankenship of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Daniel Andrade of Atwater, California; sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Blankenship of Atwater, California; Randy Blankenship of California; Bobby and Deanna Pepper of Paragould, Michael Pepper and David Pepper, both of Saint Louis, Missouri, and Mark Pepper of Payson, Arizona, Gene Blankenship of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Ralph Blankenship of Paragould, Tony Blankenship of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Bill Blankenship of Tennessee, and Jeptha Blankenship of Mountain Home; and grandchildren, Abigail, Elizabeth, Esther, Hanna, and Jonathan Andrade, Tony, Miranda, Morgan, and Victoria Pepper, and Randolyn Blankenship. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Paragould on Saturday, January 24 at 3 pm with Les Langley officiating.
