It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peggy Lee Galli, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Born on March 11, 1949, in Hughes, Arkansas, Peggy lived a life filled with honesty, devotion, and love. She departed this world on Thursday, May 7, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories that will never be forgotten.
Peggy was a dedicated homemaker who filled her home with warmth and laughter. Those who knew her appreciated her candid nature; she was honest to a fault, never shying away from expressing her thoughts, regardless of how they might be received. Her unique spirit and unwavering passion for life shone brightly, especially in the relationships she nurtured with her family. Peggy was particularly proud of her children. She was also a doting grandmother, and her love for her grandchildren was undeniable.
In her spare time, Peggy found joy in solving crosswords and engaging in games on her phone, providing a source of entertainment and challenge that kept her mind sharp. To her family, she was a constant presence-never failing to send Christmas cards or call to sing "Happy Birthday" to each member on their special day. Her thoughtfulness and commitment to family forged bonds that will forever remain in their hearts.
Peggy is survived by her children, Patricia (Michael) Potter of Paragould, Gary Harkey of Paragould, and Terry (Kim) Harkey of Harrisburg; brother, Ross Jones of Mississippi; sister, Linda (Chuck) Carter of Tennessee; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Helen Jones; husband, Robert Galli; brothers, Ronald and Donald Jones; and sisters, Brenda Griffin and Hattie Sutton.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Peggy's life at Heath Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will commence at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Linwood Cemetery.
Peggy Lee Galli will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for her vibrant personality, love for family, and the lasting impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of honesty and love will continue to inspire those she left behind.
