It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paula Ann Bearley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us on October 11, 2026, at the age of 52. Born on May 29, 1974, in Price, Utah, Paula wrapped her family and friends in love throughout her life, ultimately calling Paragould, Arkansas, her home.
Paula was the epitome of kindness-always the first to lend a hand, even to strangers. Her big heart and willingness to help others defined who she was. She took great pride in her work at Jordan's gas station, where her friendly demeanor made an impact on all who entered.
A hardworking spirit at home as well, she took pride in her home, spending every moment making it a warm sanctuary for her family. Paula was an exceptional cook; her meals were made with love and will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of enjoying them. Paula was also a passionate reader and lover of short stories on YouTube.
She found immense joy in her grandchildren, who were truly her world. Her laughter, stories, and warm hugs created countless cherished memories. Paula had a special fondness for pigs and sloths, reflecting her gentle and caring nature.
Paula was deeply devoted to her family, leaving behind her loving husband, Lucas Shultz; her mother, Joanne Jewett; her children: Jordene Carver, Devon Bearley, Casey Bearley, and Kiersten Meares; five siblings; and thirteen precious grandchildren. In addition to her human family, Paula's fur babies-Annie, Oakley, and Lucy-held a special place in her heart.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, John Henry; nephew, Garrett; and two brothers.
Though Paula may have left this earthly realm, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she loved. We hold onto her memory with love and gratitude for the time we shared with her. Rest in peace, dear Paula, knowing you will always be remembered and cherished.
