Patsy Routon

Patsy Ann Routon, 80, of Paragould, passed from this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on February 18, 1943, to the late Gwen "Doley" and Allean Bowlin Dacus. Patsy graduated from Stanford High School in the early 1960s. She retired from Emerson Electric after 37 years of dedicated service to the industry. Patsy enjoyed watching TV and working in the nursery at church. She loved going to eat and socializing with her classmates and coworkers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doley Dacus and Allean McFall; husband, Tommy Routon; brother, Jerry Dacus; brother-in-law, Ralph Routon; and niece, Donna Smith.

Patsy is survived by her son, Stephen (Alicia Lopez) Routon of Mexico City; sisters-in-law, Francis Dacus of Paragould, Connie (Richard) Collier of San Antonio, Texas, Judy Routon of Marmaduke, and Carolyn Routon of Lakeview, Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Mike (Patricia) Routon of Petal, Mississippi, and Dennis (Joyce) Routon of Lafe; and nephew, Kevin (Christine) Dacus of Paragould.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 3, 2023, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
