Pamelia Frances Thurman
August 13, 1949 — March 6, 2019
Pamelia Frances Thurman, 69, passed away Wednesday, in Jonesboro, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Rena Frances and John "Hamp" Thurman. Pam graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in journalism. She was a retired industrial engineer and technical writer. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, writing, singing, playing the piano, and being involved in her church.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David J. and Linda Thurman, of Hanover, Pennsylvania; niece, Heather Thurman Creekmore; and nephew, Michael Thurman.
A memorial service will be at 7:30 pm Thursday at Heath Funeral Home with Dr. Benjamin Shadwick and Dr. Doug Wheeler officiating.
