P. T. Meredith

P.T. Meredith, 88 of Delaplaine died Saturday at the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center. P.T. was a farmer in the Delaplaine community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fayetta Collins Meredith; parents, Plummer and Emiline Edwards Meredith; daughter, Nancy Sue Meredith; sisters, Maude Stevens, Caroline McKillips, Orah McElhaney; brother, James Willie Meredith. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Eddie Joe and Shirley Meredith of Delaplaine; grandson, Scott Merredith, ; granddaughter, Vickie Smith and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Adam Bruton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chuck McKillips, Gene, J.P., Charles, Johnny and Roger McElhaney.
