Michael Levon Farmer, 64, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026.
Michael was born on September 1, 1961, to Bob and Francis Farmer. He lived a life marked by hard work, quiet generosity, and a talent for fixing and building just about anything. Throughout his career, he worked for Arkla, Sunbeam, and Hedger Brothers, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Michael found his greatest joy in spending time in his workshop. Whether he was woodworking, working on cars, collecting coins, or simply tinkering on a project, he was happiest keeping his hands and mind busy. Family and friends knew that if something was broken, Michael could usually find a way to fix it.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Farmer; his children, Bobby (Amber) Farmer, Mitchell (Jennifer) Farmer, and Shayla (Brandon) Scott; his sister, Shela Lamborn; his brother, Jeff Farmer; his cherished grandchildren, Caden, Morgan, Hayden (Katie),Camden, Chloie, Haylee, Alexis, Benton, Mackenzie, and Tyler; and his great-grandchildren, Zaylen, Crue, and Cora.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Francis Farmer; his brother, Kim Farmer; his sister, Cathy Arant; and his beloved great-grandson, Jamison.
Michael's legacy will live on through the family he loved, the lessons he taught through his example, and the countless memories created in his shop, around old cars, shared stories, and the treasures he collected over the years. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
