Merline Julie King

Merline Julie King, 79 of Paragould died Sunday at her residence. Merline was a retired factory worker and a member of the Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Vernon Riggins, 2nd husband, John King; son, Jim Riggins; daughter Peggy Sue Riggins; brothers, Vernon, Jerry and Herman Watkins and sister, Earline Sandage. Survivors include sons, Larry Riggins of Paragould, Donald Riggins of Niles, MI and Allen Riggins of Paragould; daughter, Sue Williams of Paragould; brothers, Jay Watkins of Paragould and Bobby Watkins of Texas; sisters, Wanda King of Noel, MO, Margie Sones of Jackson, MS, Joycie Shanick of California and Betty Bergeon of Florida. 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in New Friendship Cemetery.
