Melvin D. Jackson

Melvin D. Jackson, 79, of Paragould, passed away on Monday January 11th, 2021. Melvin was born on September 25th, 1941 in Corning, Arkansas to the late Elvin and Bertha Clark/Jackson. Melvin was a retired insurance salesperson and a member of Center Hill Church of Christ. Melvin's favorite things in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Melvin really enjoyed spending time with them and making family memories, they were the light of his life. Melvin was also a caring gentleman who loved life and making others smile, laugh and would due anything to help others. Melvin is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jackson; son Ricky Jackson; and sister, Loretta Armes.

Survivors include his daughter, Julie (Aaron) Forkum of Paragould; and grandchildren, AJ Forkum, Cash Forkum, and Crystal Jackson.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 15th, 2021 at 01:00 pm at Linwood Cemetery with Michael Meredith officiating.
