Melody La'Shay Nothern

Melody La'Shay Nothern, 18, of Paragould, passed from this life on January 7, 2023. She was born on February 21, 2004. Melody was an excellent cook, and she enjoyed creating dishes to feed her family. She also loved to decorate cakes. In her spare time, Melody liked to craft. Although she did not like to do it around others, she could sing like an angel. Her family would often hear her singing to her daughter. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Charles Panhorst, Sr. and Robert and Betty Newell, and her cousins, Isaiah Lighthart, Gracie Panhorst, and Brittany Newell.

Melody is survived by her daughter, Gypsy Nothern; parents, Mandy and James Nothern; brother, Devin Nothern; siblings, William, Solomon, Eleanor, and Declan Daniels; grandparents, Raymond Nothern (Vickie Crawford), Chuck and Roberta Panhorst, and Karla Hazlewood; and great grandmother, Alice Panhorst.

Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be sent to Heath Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
