Mayleen Perek

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mayleen Perek Pablo, a beloved wife, daughter, and sister, who departed from this world on August 9, 2024. Mayleen, born in Micronesia on February 15, 1976, to Francisco Perek and Alpina Lucios, was known not only for her infectious laughter and kind heart but also for her melodious voice that filled every room she entered. She delighted those around her with her passionate singing, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of hearing her.

Survived by her loving husband, Joseph Pablo, Mayleen shared a bond that transcended time and space. She also cherished the company of her many siblings and extended family, and held a special place in the hearts of her father, Francisco Perek, and her mother, Alpina Lucios.

The funeral services for Mayleen Perek Pablo will be held at Heath Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 am. A visitation will take place on Friday, August 23, beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home and will last until the final farewell service, to honor her memory and pay respects. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her songs continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
