Marvin E. Walden

Marvin Eugene Walden, 87, of Paragould, died Tuesday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Marvin was retired from Heath Funeral Home, a member of Grace United Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Marines.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Walden; parents, Baxter and Christine Brewer Walden; sons, Irwin and Bill Walden; step-daughter, Jonie Menza; grandson, Richard Martinez, granddaughter, Taylor Shay Burdin; great grandchildren, Ryan Rutherford and Annellise Rutherford.

Survivors include daughters, Mary Ann (Lewis) Kiefer of Cabot, Darla (Scotty) Burdin of Paragould, Tammy (Jason) Willard of Paragould and Shawn (Regino) Martinez of Sacramento, CA; 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Josh Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Send memorials to Grace United General Baptist Church.
