It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mark David Yarbrough, 54, of Paragould, who left this world on Monday, December 15, 2025. Born on June 30, 1971, in Jonesboro, Mark touched the lives of many through his loving spirit and vibrant personality.

Mark was a true culinary artist, finding joy in the kitchen as he created delectable entrees. Cooking was not merely a job for him; it was a passion that brought people together. His commitment to the culinary arts was matched only by his adventurous spirit as he embraced life as a truck driver. The open road and the sights of America were his companions, filling his heart with joy as he traveled the country.

He was a talented builder who frequently lent a hand to his brother, Michael, a carpenter, creating lasting memories while constructing various projects together. Mark had a natural ability to connect with others, and he was always the first to offer help to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of generosity and compassion. He would truly give the shirt off his own back for anyone in need.

In addition to his many talents, Mark took great pride in his meticulously maintained yard, where he found peace in tending to the land. His unwavering spirit and dedication infused life into all he undertook, whether in the kitchen, on the road, or in the yard.

A lifelong fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, Mark carried his college football pride with him, sharing it with friends and family alike. He was a devout Baptist, drawing strength from his faith and community throughout his life.

Mark is survived by his beloved siblings, Kathy (Ben) Bolding of Little Mountain, South Carolina, Michael Spencer of Columbia, South Carolina, and Mandy (Brad) Bolding of Gilbert, South Carolina; his faithful girlfriend, Tina; and numerous friends and relatives who all cherished his generous heart and infectious smile. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Yarbrough Sturkie.

Per Mark's wishes, no services are planned. Instead, Mark wants everyone to celebrate his life by doing something kind for someone else. Mark was a remarkable person and the legacy he leaves is of love and compassion.

Though he is no longer with us, Mark David Yarbrough will forever remain in our hearts, and his memory will live on in the love he spread and the lives he touched.
