Maranda Alvena Williams

Maranda Alvena Williams, 85 of Paragould died Wednesday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. Alvena was retired from McDonald Douglas in St. Louis and was a member of the Grace United General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Williams; son, Ricky Williams; parents, Charlie and Hazel Buck McCullar; 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Jo and Roger Duty of Arbyrd, MO; sons and daughters-in-law, Glyn Barry and Shirley Sadler of San Antonio, TX and Freddy Hugh and Pamela Williams of Moscow Mills, MO; sisters, Frankie Jean Goldsmith and Janis Kaye Hamm both of Bakersfield, CA; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 – 1:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gerald C. James officiating. Burial will follow in LuLu Cemetery at Hollywood, MO.
