Mable Irene Garner

Mable Irene Garner, 93 of Beech Grove, died Sunday at St. Bernard’s Regiona Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and farmed in her early life and later worked in the agriculture department at ASU. She was a member of the Light Church of Christ. Mable was the 3rd of eight family members who are deceased including her husband, Sanford P. Garner, daughter, Lois Jean Walton, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her son, Cloyce Dean Garner of Beech Grove, sister, Minnie Rowland of Paragould and brother, Thomas Shipley of Paragould. 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 P.M. with Officiating. Burial will follow in the Morrow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
