Loretta Fay (White) Dowler, 88, of Paragould passed away Thursday, July 24, 2026, at the Baptist Home in Ozark, Missouri. She was born October 23, 1937, in Gainesville, Arkansas, the daughter of Alfred and Elbertine (Penney) White. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Dowler, her son, Tim Dowler, and her grandson Wesley Dowler.

Both graduates of Lafe High School in 1956, Loretta and Wayne were married on May 16, 1959, and soon moved to St. Louis, Missouri. She also enjoyed the music of Elvis, collecting depression glass, following the St. Louis Cardinals, vacationing at Lake Norfork and being an active member of her church. Loretta had a very kind and generous heart and was always quick to lend a helping hand. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, a true friend, and faithful follower of Christ.

Above all else, Loretta treasured her family. They were the center of her heart, and she delighted in celebrating their accomplishments, supporting them through life, and making cherished memories together. Her legacy will live on through each of them.
