Lois Jean Evonne Thompson

Lois Jean Thompson, 77, of Paragould, died Tuesday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. Lois was a factory worker at Emerson Electric and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Thompson; mother, Ruby Walters, step-father; Earl Walters; brother, Ross Hicks; sister, Joyce Kee; grandson, Jordan Harrington. Survivors include daughters, Cheryl Allen of Paragould, Yolanda Merath of Mountain Home, and Tammy (Michael) Berry of Paragould; sister, Paula Gorecki of Silva, MO; brother, Dennis Goldsmith of Paragould; father and step-mother, Allen (Pauline) Hicks of Silva, MO; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 P.M.at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Terry Songer officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
