Linda Darnell Kidd, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, departed this life on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the age of 55. Linda was born on December 13, 1970, in Sedgewick, and spent her life nurturing and caring for those around her.
Linda, a proud homemaker and self-proclaimed "outdoors" girl, relished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Scotty (Brittany) Kidd of Brookland and Brittany (Jordan) Crabtree of Paragould; grandchildren, Noah Morris, Bellah Morris, Caleb Crabtree, Bailey Crabtree, Bryson Duff, and Lane Duff; sisters, Sherry Foster, Samantha Vaughn, Amy Wyatt, and Shelly White; brother, Jeremy White; father of her children, Scott Kidd; her beloved fur baby, Zoey; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Her essence was woven into the fabric of their lives, as she created countless cherished memories through her dedication and love. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed "Slick" White and Darlene White; daughter, April Morris; and brother, Robert White.
Linda embraced life with an adventurous spirit; she loved riding side-by-sides and cherished fishing trips, where she often cooked up her fresh catch with her signature flair. Her family will fondly remember her delicious meatloaf and fried pork chops, each meal a reflection of her love and warmth. Music filled her home, and she was particularly fond of the heartfelt melodies of older country music, finding solace and joy in the songs that spoke to her soul.
A celebration of Linda's life is set to take place at Faith Fellowship Community Church in Paragould on Friday, October 30, 2026. A visitation will be from 4-6 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 6 PM.
In her passing, we celebrate Linda's vibrant spirit, her nurturing heart, and her indelible impact on our lives. May her memory live on in the stories we share and the love we carry forth.
