Leon Dick Dover

Leon Dover, 86 of Lafe, died Thursday at his residence. Leon was a retired farmer and a World War II veteran. Leon was preceded in death by 2 wives; parents, Lonnie and Lula Forrest Dover; 2 sisters and a brother. Survivors include daughters. Joyce Cook of Brookland, AR and Kathy Russom of Lafe, AR; sons, J. L. Dover of St. Louis, Jimmy Dover of Colorado, Jack Dover of Cherokee Village, John Dover of Jonesboro and Ted Dover of Lafe; brother, Ronald Hendon of Jonesboro; sisters Norma Harvill of Alabama and Geraldine Wayons of Texas. 16 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 8:30-10:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at Lawrence Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Don Clayton officiating.
