Larry Douglas "Doug" Lewis

Larry Douglas "Doug" Lewis, 37, of Spiro, Oklahoma, formerly of Paragould, passed away Wednesday. He enjoyed riding horses and raising chickens. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carvin and Louise Welchel, Charles and Joyce Lewis; uncle, Mark Welchel; and his paternal grandfather, Ed Duke.

Doug is survived by his wife, Sarah Lewis, of the home; children, Trenton Creameans of Corning, Chase Phillips, Landyn Phillips, both of Houston, Texas, Destiny Lewis of Jonesboro, Kyleigh Dawn Lewis of Marmaduke; mother and step-dad, Teresa and Don Duke of Marmaduke; father, Larry Dale Lewis of Paragould; mother in law, Sandra Wood of Paragould; brother, Scotty Dale (Christy) Lewis of Paragould; step-sister, Jessica Duke and fiance Ryan Brannum of Marmaduke; step-brother, Jason (Leighann) Duke of Jonesboro; paternal grandmother, Margie Duke of Marmaduke; several nieces and nephews; and was loved by all the family.

Visitation will be Monday 12-2 PM with the service to follow at Heath Funeral Home with Bro. Pat Graham and Bro. Charles Stoddard officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
