It is with heavy hearts yet joyful spirits that we celebrate the life of our beloved Korbin Bryce Easley, affectionately known to friends and family as KB, Korbs, Doodle Bug, and Monkey Butt. Born on March 9, 2016, in Paragould, Korbin brought an abundance of light and love into the lives of all who knew him. He passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026, leaving a legacy of joy that will never be forgotten.
At just 10 years old, Korbin was a vibrant 4th grader at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School, where his laughter and enthusiasm were contagious. His world revolved around superheroes, with Superman reigning as his all-time favorite. Whether he was donning a cape or daydreaming of saving the day, Korbin had an adventurous spirit that inspired everyone around him.
Korbin had a love for music that transcended genres; it didn't matter what played, as long as he got to groove along. He was captivated by the beauty of lights, relishing everything from Christmas decorations to glowing gadgets. Water was another passion of his as he spent countless joyful hours splashing around in baths, enjoying water slides, or exploring the wonders of the aquarium. He was known for his affection, eagerly seeking hugs and kisses from his siblings-Maddox, Malachi, Kaziah, and Kylo-and could often be found giggling in delight from playful tickles under his neck, a spot that tickled both his heart and his funny bone.
Korbin is survived by his loving parents, Michael and Brittney Easley, who cherish their memories of him along with his brothers and sister and an extended family who loved him dearly, including grandmothers, LeeAnn (Matthew) Young of Rector and Shelia (Tom) Maynard of Paragould; grandfathers, Freddy (Mykal Ann) Sammons of Jonesboro and Gary Easley of Texas; great-grandmothers, Judy Howard of Paragould and Gail Sammons of Bellville; great-grandfather, Jimmy Andrews of Brookland; uncles, Charles Easley of Paragould and Nathan Sammons of Jonesboro; aunts, Selena (Josiah) Duke of Jonesboro, Loren Jones of Paragould, and Katelyne Sammons of Paragould; and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins. Korbin was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Fred Sammons, Sr. and Edgar Stanfill, Sr.; great grandmother, Martha Andrews; uncles, Christian "Peanut" Easley and Andrew Easley; and aunts, Rebecca Easley and Judy Smith.
To honor his joyful spirit, a visitation will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6-8 PM at Heath Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Heath Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Watson officiating, followed by his burial at Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Freddy Sammons, Tom Maynard, Brian Smith, Jr., David Howard, and Luke Smith. Honorary Pallbearers are the Special Education Teachers at Woodrow Wilson and Nurse Whitley.
In true Korbin style, we invite all attendees to wear their favorite superhero shirts as we come together to celebrate a remarkable boy who filled our lives with laughter, love, and an unwavering joy for life. Though his time with us was brief, Korbin's spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts.
