Kenneth James Autry, born on November 19, 1969, in Paragould, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 55. Kenny was a beloved son, father, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A proud graduate of Greene County Tech High School, Kenny distinguished himself as a remarkable athlete. He played fullback on the football team, showcasing his talent and determination. He earned a football scholarship to Arkansas State University and held the record for the fastest 100-yard dash at Greene County Tech, a testament to his outstanding athletic prowess.
Kenny served his country with honor as a veteran of the Desert Storm campaign, forging lasting bonds with his fellow servicemen. He cherished the time spent with his Army buddies whenever possible, as those friendships provided him great joy throughout his life.
Kenny is survived by his loving mother, Velma Autry; his daughters, Kencin Autry and Kenley Autry; and his uncle, James Beasley. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication that will resonate through the hearts of those he touched.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, James Floyd Autry; his grandparents, James Monroe Autry, Dorothy Mae Autry, James Beasley, and Sterlean Beasley.
Kenneth James Autry will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit and unwavering love by those who knew him well. May he rest in peace.
