Kathy Lynn Mckelvey

Kathy Lynn McKelvey, 62, of East Peoria, Illinois, passed away March 14, 2017 in San Diego, California. Kathy was born in Peoria to John and Doris Trobaugh on May 19, 1954. She attended East Peoria High School and graduated in 1972. She enjoyed home decorating, playing with her grandsons, teaching children in church and VBS, cooking, playing the piano and a good Hallmark movie. She owned and operated a Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in Oswego, Illinois for 3 years. Kathy was a member of PEO in Russellville, Arkansas, a Bible Study Fellowship leader, a devout Christian wife, mother, daughter and friend.

Kathy is survived by her parents, John and Doris Trobaugh of Peoria, Illinois; husband, Randy McKelvey of 44 years of Swansea, Illinois; daughter, Heather (McKelvey) Allen of Montgomery Illinois; daughter, Kristen (McKelvey) Black and husband Josh Black of North Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Rick Trobaugh of Alton, Illinois; four grandsons, Tanner and Cade Allen and Tucker and Cooper Black.

Visitation will be held at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas on March 21, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 pm. Funeral service will follow starting at 2:00 pm with Pastor David White and Pastor Melvin York officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
