Johnnie Andrew Ward, 89, of Paragould died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at his residence . He was born September 17, 1919 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. He was a retired from Monroe Auto Equipment Co. He was of Pentecostal faith. Survivors include three daughters: Glenda Rogers, Brenda French, and Reda Seal all of Paragould; one brother: Amos ward, of Mi.: two nieces; Cleva Arterbery, and Nelda Williams of Paragould: Five grandchildren; Ronda Slatton, Terry Rogers, Alicia French, Kevin French, and Chantelle Hubbard: and seven great-grandchildren. Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Mary Goff Ward his wife LillianWarren Ward , four brothers; Robert, Barney, Lonnie, and Bill Ward; and one sister, Nora Seay. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brandon Slatton, Brent Slatton, Bro Donnie Slatton, Roger Ward, David Rogers, and Steve Goins Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 am at the Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Dave White officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Monday at Heath Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the organization of donors choice.
