John Filerbo

John Eric Filerbo, age 66, of Paragould, departed this life on June 2, 2025. Born on February 6, 1959, in Canton, Illinois, John spent his life navigating the challenges of blindness with remarkable courage and resilience.

John was known for his deep passion for music, which played a significant role in his life. He delighted in listening to his favorite melodies as well as expressing his love through the strumming of his guitar and the soulful notes of his harmonica. Music was not just a pastime for John; it was a source of comfort and strength, a medium through which he connected with the world around him.

His physical spirit shone through in his dedication to exercise, often engaging in hours of activity. He is survived by his brother, Tony Filerbo, who will carry his legacy forward.

John was preceded in death by his father, Harold Filerbo, mother, Barbara Ridley, and brother, Mike Filerbo.

John Eric Filerbo will be remembered for his indomitable spirit, his passion for music, and the warmth he gifted to those who were lucky enough to share in his journey. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
