John Ellis Back

John Ellis Back, 77 of Jonesboro, formerly of Paragould died Friday at his daughters residence. John was retired from the U. S. Army and Emerson Electric. He was a member of the 2nd and Walnut church of Christ. Preceding John in death were his parents, Joseph and Anna Marie Gerath Back; 1st wife, Elsie Back,; 2nd. Wife, Mary Back; sons, John Delbert and Gary Back; brother, Joseph Russell Back. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Dewayne Eubanks of Jonesboro; sisters, Katherine Graul of St. Louis, MO, Jo Ann Back and Dorothy Frost both of Paragould; brothers, Bill and James Back of Paragould. Grandchildren, Shane Jones, Melissa Back Sutherland, Priscilla Jones, Autumn Back Guillot and Mark Stover. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:30 - 8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Jack Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Knot Cemetery.
