Jimmy Dale Thresher departed this life on April 5, 2026. Jimmy Dale was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on January, 10, 1945, to J.O. and Elma Thresher.

He was a retired Methodist minister. He served the Methodist Church for over 30 years. His lifelong hobbies were playing music and working on cars.

Jimmy Dale is survived by his daughter, Chandra (David) Workman of Paragould, as well as his grandchildren, Allie Thresher of Paragould and Michael (Jessica) Wyatt of Corn, Oklahoma, and three great-grandchildren: Layla Bartlett and Avacyn Bartlett, both of Paragould, and James Wyatt of Corn.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, J.O. Thresher; mother, Elma Thresher; sister, Shirley Brewer of Tennessee; and brother-in-law, Glenn Griffin of Turrell, Arkansas.

No services are currently planned. Heath Funeral Home is honored to serve the family during this time.
